HOW TO MAKE

Our Soya Chaap is made of the finest of ingredients and is ready for cooking in a variety of dishes including curries, tandoor and as a snack.

To make Soya Chaap, follow these steps:

You will need the below ingredients.

  • 1 cup soya chunks
  • 1/2 cup chickpea flour (besan)
  • 1/2 cup yogurt (curd)
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Soak the soya chunks in warm water for 10-15 minutes until they become soft.

Drain the water and squeeze out the excess water from the soya chunks.

Grind the soya chunks in a food processor until they become a fine paste.

In a mixing bowl, combine the soya paste with chickpea flour, yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth dough.

Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into sausage-like rolls.

Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the soya chaap rolls until they are golden brown and crispy.

Serve hot with your choice of sauce or chutney.

Soya chaap can be enjoyed as a snack or as a main course with rice or naan. It is a delicious and healthy vegetarian alternative to meat dishes.
